Welcome to my contribution to Six Sentence Sunday. My WIP in a contemporary romance tentatively entitled Swashbuckler. This week’s six are a continuation from the past three weeks-we’re in the middle of the novel and there has been a huge misunderstanding between Rodger and Rachel. They have run into one another unexpectedly at a restaurant in Costa Rica where Rodger was involved in a movie shoot.
Just then a woman came up behind Rodger and snaked her arm around his waist. “Have you abandoned us?” she asked him, as she batted her eyes and cocked her hip to the side. Rachel could see that Rodger had a perfect view of her ample cleavage as his attention was drawn to the beauty at his side.
Good-now I can escape, Rachel thought. So why did her hand itch to savagely yank on this woman’s long hair?
Rodger’s anger vanished from his face and a sexy smile bloomed on his lips.
Stay tuned for next week’s 6 sentences-the finale of this scene. . . And don’t forget to visit all of the other amazing writers contributing to Six Sentence Sunday!
