Six Sentence Sunday #17

I’m so grateful for Thanksgiving week (I have the week off). Time to write and to maybe finish my WIP (1st draft). I’m almost there. . . .wish me luck. . . .

This snippet takes place near the beginning of Swashbuckler.

Ninety minutes later they were in a cab headed back to the Fairmont Hotel, where they had met nearly seven hours earlier.  Roger’s hands still burned from grabbing Rachel’s hips when she’d stumbled over the edge of the curb.  And then she went and lost her balance getting into the cab, falling forward on her knees onto the back seat. Rodger had gotten a great view of her rounded ass, immediately putting images in his mind of her being naked in his bed.  As they sat together in the cab, quiet for the first time in an hour, Rodger was having a hard time getting those images out of his mind. The last thing he wanted as he exited the cab was a raging hard-on.

Here’s the link for prior week’s snippets from Swashbuckler, my WIP.
