Six Sentence Sunday #24

Welcome back to the beach with Rachel and Adam. This is their first kiss. . .

And then he kissed her. It was soft, slow, tentative, despite the implied promise of his words. Rachel immediately felt a soothing warmth travel through her body and she heard her voice murmur yes as Adam grabbed her arms, pulling her body closer to his. She wrapped her relieved arms around him.

Finally.

Finally she would forget about Rodger.

  1. I can’t wait to beta this story out to people–the reaction to Adam so far has been very positive. A person in my critique group said she liked him better than the hero (oops, had to go back and do some character building on Rodger).

I’m curious to see if he’s strong enough a character for his own HEA?
