I’ve counted over and over again and I think I’m at six sentences this week. 🙂 Jason is holding Siobhan (our lovely witchy protagonist) and her students at scalpel-point. We don’t know why.
“Bitch, fucking shut up,” Jason nearly shouted, his quivering voice spewing out filth and fear. His arm waved to the side, pointing at the scuffling bodies Siobhan heard behind her. He lunged an inch, catching himself before moving a real step, a step she knew he couldn’t come back from. Rachel heard the students stop. “DON’T MOVE,” he bellowed with more surety. Someone muffled a sob.
