This week’s snippet for Snippet Sunday and Weekend Writing Warriors, is from Swashbuckler, my contemporary romance that is still a WIP. It picks up a little further from where we left off last week. In the very early morning hours, Rachel had left Rodger asleep in bed while she dressed to go home. Now for round two. 😉
Just as she picked up the phone to call for a cab, she felt Rodger behind her. His arms circled around her waist and she felt his nude body press against her. “We’re not done,” Rodger growled in her ear, his need obvious. Without another word he started biting her ear lobe, his hands somehow finding their way underneath her blouse. She whimpered as his hands discovered her nipples through the satin of her bra, pinching and rolling them between his fingers. Leaning back, she let him support her weight as she became lost in the sensation of his hands on her body, every touch stoking that fiery need in her heart.
“Come here,” Rachel said and led Rodger to the couch. She sat him down, spreading his legs apart, pushing his chest back. “Relax,” she whispered.
